Capybara Casino Dashboard

Turn the lobby into a status screen. Rank, streak, boost, balances and unclaimed rewards sit on one surface, so a player sees where they stand and what's one action away the moment they land.

Section AThe problem

Social casinos bury progression in menus — VIP tier here, daily streak there, Gold Coins and Sweep Coins split across tabs. Players lose track of what they've earned and what's next, so the loop that should pull them back stops working.

Section BResearch

I audited five sweepstakes and social casino apps, read app-store reviews around bonuses and redemption, and walked through the first-session flow as a new player to see where progression stops being legible.

Finding 01
Currency confusion is the first drop-off

New players couldn't say which coin had cash value. Reviews repeatedly conflated Gold Coins with Sweep Coins, so redemption felt like a trick rather than a reward.

Finding 02
Rewards expire unseen

Daily bonuses, missions and tier drops lived in three different tabs. Players only discovered them after they expired, which reads as a broken promise instead of a missed streak.

Finding 03
VIP status is invisible mid-session

Tier progress was a settings screen, not a state. Without visible distance-to-next-rank, the ladder motivated nobody past the first day.

Section CProcess

The work moved from mapping the economy to prototyping one status surface, then pressure-testing it against a cold-start session.

  1. Step 01
    Map the economy

Charted every source and sink of Gold Coins, Sweep Coins and Gems, then wrote a one-line plain-language role for each currency to anchor all copy.

  2. Step 02
    Rank the hero

Ordered hero content by the questions a returning player actually asks: what rank am I, is my streak alive, what's boosted, what can I claim.

  3. Step 03
    Prototype the claim loop

Built the dashboard as a working prototype so the claim-all interaction, tier bar and balance switching could be tapped rather than described.

  4. Step 04
    Test the cold start

Ran the first-session path repeatedly to confirm a brand-new player understands both currencies and reaches a first claim without opening a menu.

Section DPrinciples
Principle 01
Progression above the fold

Tier, XP to next rank, streak and active boost sit in the hero — the answer to 'am I winning?' arrives before any game.

Principle 02
One claim, not ten

Daily bonus, missions and rewards collapse into a single Claim All action instead of a scavenger hunt across tabs.

Principle 03
Two currencies, no confusion

Gold Coins, Sweep Coins and Gems each carry a plain-language role and a redeemable balance, so value is never ambiguous.

Section ESolution

A single dashboard where progression, balances and rewards share one surface — and every unclaimed item is one tap from resolved.

01
Status hero

Rank badge, XP-to-next-tier bar, streak counter and active boost sit together at the top, so standing and momentum are readable in a glance.

02
Claim All

Daily bonus, missions and tier drops aggregate into one pending-rewards module with a single primary action and a visible count.

03
Two-currency wallet

Gold Coins for play and Sweep Coins for redemption are shown side by side with their role spelled out and Gems kept visually separate as a premium currency.

04
VIP ladder as a path

Tiers are shown as a forward path with the next unlock named, turning the programme into a reason to return instead of a settings page.
